Inspiring and Preparing Students for the Future of their Choosing
The San Francisco Schoolhouse's Middle School is a 21st-century microschool where childhood and adolescence are honored and celebrated, and the city is our classroom. Schoolhouse’s innovative curriculum builds core skills, social-emotional competencies, and civic engagement in both single- and multi-age groups. By intentionally building a small-group environment where your child is known and celebrated, we teach differentiated skills and organize our curriculum through interdisciplinary, project-based units that hone inquiry skills. We use off-campus learning opportunities including service projects, parks, libraries, and cultural institutions as teaching spaces.
